Regis has a concierge PPLI process for our advisor’s clients. We expedite the underwriting process by ordering medical records, exams and working with our in-house underwriter to make sure we are giving IPL a complete package for them to secure the amount of insurance needed.

Private Placement is a wonderful opportunity for people to use this unique product for their legacy planning or passing wealth to future generations. The ability to invest in alternative investments also makes it a game changer. You have such optionality with this product that allows you to grow cash value tax free with a great selection of investments that you would not have access to if you purchased a retail VUL product.
Advisors need to continue to understand the product, understand the investment options, and find where it fits within the clients’ portfolio. The PPVA product is a great way to give clients access to alternative investment for tax deferred growth in their portfolio. Utilizing the life insurance and how it can also be used for not only taking withdrawals from on a tax-free basis, but it can also be used to fund additional life products for the clients’ estate planning needs. If underwriting doesn’t go as planned or the cost of insurance charges are higher due to a personal medical history, we can pivot to the PPVA product using the same investment options. There is always a win for the client.
This is my second career, and I started as a NY Life agent almost 20 years ago. When that did not pan out quickly, I was fortunate to really start my insurance career at Merrill Lynch, helping advisors with their insurance business. An opportunity opened at a brokerage agency in 2008 where I could learn and be mentored by two of the best in the business in the NYC area…and I took it.
Five years ago, I was blessed with the opportunity to take over Synergy Life Brokerage as the President. Three years ago, we rebranded the company to Regis Financial Partners, which happens to be my middle name. It was vital that we are financial partners not only to our advisors and clients but to our insurance carrier partners in the financial services marketplace as well.
